A nationally-recognized agency, Avenidas serves adults over age 50 and the caregivers that assist them in the Palo Alto area. Our partnership with Avenidas includes founding support for the agency’s health library and for the operation and maintenance of a 16-passenger vehicle used to transport seniors who are not able to drive. The van makes roundtrips from the seniors’ homes to supermarkets, the Senior Day Health Center, and to a senior nutrition program that provides hot lunches at the Avenidas building in downtown Palo Alto. |
